Caleb is 3 (Well, Almost)

So I won a giveaway from Bargain Bombshell Blog for a custom birthday invitation. So exciting since Caleb's birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks. So, I took Caleb out to get some pictures wearing his birthday shirt from Mimi.

This one is my fave! It might be the one to make it to the birthday invite.

Custom Colors

Custom orders are always welcome and now you can see all the yarn colors we have available. Scalloped edge beanies, tarfs, and hairclips can be made from any of these colors.

These cupcake purses were created for a custom order. Hot Pink and Yellow with sprinkles on top. What's not to love? Easter is coming and these make great Easter basket stuffers. Check them out in our shop at Mimi's Babies.

Bead Sorting

What do you do when the bead color you *need* for cupcake purses is only available in a mixed bag? Put the kids to work, of course. Ha! The little boys enjoy sorting and I thought this would be a great "project" for them. Don't let Caleb's angry eyes fool you, he was loving it. He just didn't want his picture taken!

Jacob was busy at work.

Caleb was working, but he still didn't want his picture taken.

"Caleb, can I see your beads?" He was so sweet to share!

An hour later, all the beads were sorted and ready to be sprinkled onto cupcake purses. Not sure what a cupcake purse is? Check them out in our Etsy shop - Mimi's Babies Etsy.

T-Shirt Fix

How's this for fixing a t-shirt? Jackson had this blue t-shirt with some stains on the front of it. So, I appliqued over it! It actually says J is for Jackson, but you can't see it very well in the picture. Sorry 'bout that!

Caleb's Birthday Shirt

Caleb is going to be 3 years old next month. How can that be? Seems just yesterday....well, you know. Time flies.

This is Caleb's birthday shirt. I hope he likes it. See the zebra peeking in? How sweet is that? Just like Caleb. But don't make him angry. He will use his "angry eyes" on you!

How about that? We've made it to 100 posts! I didn't even realize until I logged on tonight.

Last post I mentioned that I loved to win prizes. Who doesn't? Before the flu hit me really hard I was just killing time reading blogs when I found the cutest blog! Rachel at A Cupcake for Moose was having a giveaway and I entered. Guess who won?? Look at the package I got in the mail today.
I just love those hankies, they are the best hankies ever and too cute! Look at the gloves, aren't they sweet? And a ring and some handmade Thank you notes and the sweetest little handwritten note. Don't you love a handwritten note in the mail? Come on, now!

Things I love Thursday

I'm back! What? You didn't miss me? Ouch, I'm going to ignore that. I've been away for awhile with family matters and then the flu (YUCK!!) Yesterday out of the corner of my eye what did I happen to get a glimpse of??? This little jewel:
This little hook makes me happy. I found it for 80% off at Hobby Lobby. It's a little bird in a cage and on the back of the inside it says "Count your Blessings: Now doesn't that just make your little heart sing?
